Building Relationships

Posted on April 20, 2015

Happy Volunteer Recognition Day! Today is a day to honor all volunteers and we have a lot of volunteers who help make our area attractions a wonderful experience for visitors like you. We caught up with the Lincoln State Park camp hosts, Brenda and Carl Harris, with the help of Joe who works at the park. carlpic_3_1.jpg Q: How long have you been volunteering at Lincoln State Park? A: 10 Years Q: What is your favorite part about volunteering at the park? A: The people we meet/relationships built and being able to give back. We feel we gain as much as we give to the park in regard to the relationships we have built. Q: Do you have a favorite spot to relax inside Lincoln State Park? A: Favorite place is down by the lake. Q: What tip would you tell a first-time visitor to Lincoln State Park? A: To get out and look around the park. See all the park has to offer. And meet other campers. There is a lot to learn from experienced campers. Thank you for all you do at Lincoln State Park, Brenda and Carl. And thank you to volunteers throughout the county and nation who are giving back to their communities.
