Blessing of the Buffalo - A traditional “sage blessing,” offering a cleansing to the buffalo, will be performed by a trio of Native American women during the “Blessing of the Buffalo” on September 11, 2010 at Buffalo Run Farm, Grill & Gifts. The blessing ceremony will take place at 11:00 am CDT with the opportunity to feed the buffalo to follow. Native Americans will conduct demonstrations from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm CDT, including tamahawk throwing, flint knapping, and others.
