Lincoln Amphitheatre

Lincoln-Amphitheatre

As one of the largest roofed amphitheatres in the nation, Lincoln Amphitheatre is a majestic 1,500-seat outdoor venue located in the very woods Abraham Lincoln walked as a boy. From the time he was 7 until he was 21, Lincoln lived and learned in what is now Lincoln City, Indiana.

This summer see "The Wizard of Oz" like you’ve never seen before at Lincoln Amphitheatre, July 21 through August 7. Performances will be in the evenings on Thursday through Saturday and Sunday matinees. Watch as Dorothy lives on a modern-day farm and is flung by a twister into a world of Oz that includes monkeys using jet packs and rollerblades.

See one of President Lincoln’s favorite plays this summer at Lincoln Amphitheatre. “Our American Cousin” will play August 19-27, Friday and Saturday evenings with a Sunday matinee.

Lincoln Amphitheatre will also be hosting movie nights in the spring, summer, and fall months featuring family films.

The outdoor amphitheatre is located inside scenic Lincoln State Park in Lincoln City, Indiana.
